Judging: A Speck Inspection
I. The sin: When I judge, I presume to be God, the Judge - 7:1a. "Don't judge..."
II. The significance: When I judge, I position myself for judgment by God - 7:1b "...so that you won't be judged."
III. The standard: When I judge, I establish the standard by which I will be judged - 7:2. "For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use."
IV. The speck: When I judge, I disregard my major deficiencies, while accentuating the minor failures of others - 7:3-5
